I had a wonderful Christmas, I don't know about you!  I got what I wanted... A Girlfriend! LoL

Really, she's wonderful, treats me right and I try my damnedest to do the same for her.  Her name is Roxanne  Everything is moving along swimmingly, I couldn't be happier.  For the first time ever... I've had no doubts entering a relationship.

I'll keep everyone updated, and you may be seeing art from me sometime soon again... after all... Love is my greatest inspiration!

The bitch is gone.

I mean, seriously, she just up and left without telling anyone she was leaving, where she was going, or when she'll be back.  Not family, not me, said she just needed to get away when she finally called me Saturday morning and offered no real explanation and apparently lied to me about when she'd be back.

Oh yea, and she took the TV I got her at Aaron's ON MY ACCOUNT only about a week ago.  Fortunately, she's agreed to return it first thing in the morning to Aaron's.  Now I get to wait and see if she's good on her word.

Why me?  Why do I always get the crazy ones?  Needless to say, I broke it off with her, but considering she wasn't answering my calls (or anyone else's for that matter), I had to break it off with her voice mail. Awkward, but she forced my hand.

*shrug*

On to the next psycho......

Okay, so those few of you that care about my life, my art, and everything "me" are probably wondering, what have I been doing with all this time that I've not posted a damned thing?  Working. My. Ass. Off.

Seriously.  I have two jobs, one at a bakery and one at Long John Silver's. When the holiday got into full swing, I wound up working 50 hours a week for the bakery, and my regular 25 at LJS.

All those hours paid off, however.  I was able to give my girls the Christmas they deserve for once.  And working for LJS held other hidden benefits.  A co-worker of mine introduced me to her mother, and we hit it off right away.  "Dating", that is dining out, clubbing, juggling romances, that's all for young people.  Latrice and I jumped right into the relationship.  She's officially my girlfriend.  Our first "date" was nearly cancelled on account of snow.  Her daughter feared for her driving in snow, so she wanted her to postpone the date.  But we worked something out.  She invited me over for home-cooked steak and potatoes and a movie, so I hopped in a cab (I have no car) to her place after grabbing a dessert and the movie from RedBox and the rest is history!

For all I know this could be the love of my life, friends!  I can't stop thinking about her, and she can't stop thinking about me.  I want to be with her every waking moment of my day... I've never felt like this before!  She's absolutely wonderful, what we have is magic, and everything I just said is true for her, too.

But I'm serious!

Check this out, I'm a power-gamer, right?  Love my video games.  Anytime I would have a steady girlfriend, I still wanted "Me Time."  Now, I want my "Me Time" to be "Us Time"!  And she's the same way!  I HAVE to spend time with this woman!  Time apart drives us BOTH crazy!  This is unreal!  It feels like a story-book romance!  She tells me that I make her so comfortable it feels like she's known me her whole life.  She told me tonight that she feels so wonderful about us that she keeps expecting to wake up from a dream anytime! I tell ya friends, it's so very soon to say it, but my coworkers think I'm in love... All I can say to that is: I hope so.  If this is what TRUE love feels like, I don't ever want it to stop!
